Caro Ramsay is a successful Scottish author, best known for her crime fiction novels. She was born and raised in Glasgow, where many of her stories are set. From a young age, Ramsay has been writing, and her passion for crime fiction led her to create the Anderson and Costello series.
Ramsay has received both praise and criticism for her writing style, with some reviewers highlighting the dark and twisted nature of her stories. Despite this, her work has been well-received by critics and readers alike. Her debut novel, Absolution, was shortlisted for the CWA New Blood Dagger in 2008, and her second novel, Singing to the Dead, was longlisted for the Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award in 2010.
In addition to her writing, Ramsay runs a successful osteopath center in West Scotland, where she treats both animals and humans. She graduated from the British School of Osteopathy and has been practicing for many years while also pursuing her writing career. Ramsay's success as an author has also led to her appearance in a BBC documentary film and on STV's show The Hour in 2010.
