Carole Johnstone

Carole Johnstone is a talented author who grew up in Lanarkshire, Scotland. She has been writing for as long as she can remember and has established herself as an award-winning short story writer, with her work being reprinted and translated worldwide. Johnstone has been published by several prominent publishing houses, including HarperCollins, Macmillan, Simon & Schuster, and Titan Books. She has also contributed to the Sherlock Holmes series by writing stories for Constable & Robinson.

Johnstone's debut novel, MIRRORLAND, has been a success, with sales in 13 territories and options for television adaptations by Heyday TV and NBC Universal. Her second novel, THE BLACKHOUSE, is a gripping gothic thriller and unusual whodunnit set on an isolated Scottish island, where nothing is as it seems, and shocking twists await the reader around every corner. THE BLACKHOUSE is set to be released on Aug 4 2022 in the UK and Jan 3 2023 in the US and CAN.
