Cathy Glass is a pseudonym for a bestselling British author who has made a name for herself in the True Life Stories and Inspirational Memoirs genres. She is also a freelance writer and foster carer who has been working in the field for over 25 years. During this time, she has cared for more than 100 children, many of whom have suffered abuse and had complex needs or challenging behavior. Glass is a specialist foster carer, also known as a level 3 carer, in recognition of her experience and qualifications.
In addition to her work as a foster carer, Glass has a degree in education and psychology, and she has been writing for most of her life. She began by writing poems and short stories in her teens and later moved on to writing articles, radio plays, and entering writing competitions. However, it wasn't until 2007 that her two passions, writing and foster caring, came together when she wrote a book about a child she had fostered, which immediately became a number one bestseller. Since then, Glass has written many bestsellers, thanks to the support of her readers.
Glass has also written a parenting guide to bringing up children, Happy Kids, and a novel, The Girl in the Mirror, based on a true story. In addition to writing under the name Cathy Glass, she also writes thriller books under the pen name Lisa Stone. Glass has a website where readers can learn more about her and her books, as well as read updates on the children she has fostered. She is grateful for the support of her readers and appreciates their best wishes.
