Cathy Marie Hake

Cathy Marie Hake is a humor-infused author who enjoys creating imaginary friends and worlds. As a child, Hake had an imaginary playmate, and as a grown-up, she indulges in her imagination by writing. She has a unique sense of humor, which is evident in her anecdotes about surfing on a dropped dill pickle slice and waterskiing on sea anemone spit. Hake is a devout Christian and believes that God has a healthy sense of humor, as evidenced by her life experiences.

Hake is a Southern California resident, where she lives with her husband, whom she met in the High School department at church. They have two children and two dogs, one of which moos, adding to the amusement and joy in her life. Besides her family and pets, Hake loves classical music, romantic getaways with her husband, and Diet Pepsi Free®. She also has a deep personal relationship with the Lord, which she incorporates into her writing.
