Celina Grace

Celina Grace is a British author, best known for her Kate Redman Mysteries series. Grace has been involved in the world of writing and publishing for over fifteen years, with her love for storytelling beginning at a young age. She wrote her first story, The Blue Ruby, when she was seven, and continued to experiment with screenplays and scripts throughout her college and university years. Grace's writing career truly took off in her twenties, when she began writing her first novel, followed by her second and third novels.

Grace's path to publication was not without its challenges. After finishing her first novel, she did not bother trying to get it published, viewing it instead as a practice run. It wasn't until she entered the 2004 Lit Idol competition and placed third that she gained the confidence to pursue publication. However, even after this success, she faced numerous rejections and setbacks. Grace remained undeterred, and her perseverance paid off when her novel The House on Fever Street was shortlisted for the Crime Writers' Association Debut Dagger Award in 2006.

Despite this recognition, Grace continued to face obstacles in her quest for publication. She waited for years to hear back from publishers and agents, only to be met with rejection. Eventually, she took matters into her own hands and decided to self-publish her work on Amazon. This decision proved to be a successful one, and Grace has been making sales and writing full-time ever since. She currently lives in the medieval town of Hitchin in the UK and is working on her most recent book, Muse (A Kate Redman Mystery: Book 15), which will be published on 28th April 2023.
