Chelle Bliss is the pen name of a USA Today bestselling author who was born in Ohio and later moved to Florida. She chose the name Chelle Bliss when she began writing novels, as she wanted to keep her writing separate from her career as a history teacher. The name Chelle comes from her real name, Rachelle, and Bliss is a word she plucked out of thin air. She has a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in Instructional Technology, but she has always had a passion for writing. She describes herself as a coffee fiend, social media addict, and full-time writer.

Bliss is the author of several series, including Men of Inked and ALFA P.I. She has written over thirteen titles since publishing her first novel, "Throttled," in 2014. She currently lives in a small town near the Gulf of Mexico, where she spends her time writing, taking care of her two cats, and spending time with her alpha male husband. Although she loves the sunshine in Florida, she hates sand and admits that sometimes the heat can be overwhelming. Despite her love for history, she has stated that writing is her dream job and she would not give it up for anything.
