She had the opportunity to live and work in various countries, including Australia, Singapore, India, Taiwan, and England.

Hollon's engineering background has provided her with a unique perspective and skill set, which she brings to her writing. After many years in the engineering field, Hollon decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. She left her engineering career and began writing full-time, combining her love of writing with her passion for creating glass art.

In her small glass studio, located in the back of her 1920's craftsman bungalow in St. Petersburg, FL, Hollon and her husband design, create, and produce fused glass, stained glass, and painted glass artworks and jewelry. Hollon's writing is heavily influenced by her experiences living and working abroad, as well as her love for art and design. Her novels are known for their intricate plotlines, well-developed characters, and richly detailed settings.
