Chris Pavone

Chris Pavone is a highly acclaimed American author, best known for his spy thriller and international thriller novels. Pavone was born and raised in New York City, where he attended Midwood High School before going on to study at Cornell University. After graduation, he spent the next two decades working in the publishing industry, holding various positions at different publishing houses such as Clarkson Potter, where he specialized in cookbooks.

Pavone's literary career took off with the release of his first novel, The Expats, in 2012. The book became an international bestseller and won several prestigious awards, including the Anthony and Edgar Awards for Best First Novel. His novels have also been featured on bestseller lists of prominent publications such as the New York Times and USA Today. In addition, his books have been translated into over two dozen languages and are in development for Hollywood projects.

Pavone's writing has been published in various outlets, including the New York Times Book Review and Magazine, the Telegraph, and Salon.
