Christine Pope

Christine Pope is a prolific author, having penned stories ever since she could hold a pencil. Her passion for writing was ignited when her parents brought home a typewriter, which she immediately commandeered and used to write her first story at the age of eleven. Although this initial attempt was a "horrible piece of writing," it provided her with the motivation and belief that she could become a writer. After a hiatus during her college years, Pope's interest in writing was rekindled through fan fiction, and she began selling manuscripts to a small e-publisher in 2010. In addition to her work as an author, Pope has also spent many years in the magazine publishing industry and now works as a freelance editor.

Pope is a native of Southern California and has a diverse writing style, with works spanning various genres including paranormal romance, fantasy, horror, science fiction, and historical romance. Her debut novel, "Fringe Benefits," is a contemporary romance, while her paranormal novella, "Playing With Fire," was released in 2010. Pope's love for different genres is reflected in her expansive shoe collection, with her eclectic taste being attributed to her easily distracted nature. She currently resides in New Mexico with her husband and an explosively fluffy Pomeranian mix, and can be found at her home office during weekends and evenings, working on her latest fiction projects.
