Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Tired of the fast-paced city life and seeking a better work-life balance, he made the decision to move to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004. He has since lived there with his wife and dogs, finding inspiration in the tranquil surroundings for his writing.
Artinian is a prolific author, having released thirty-eight books across five different series. His work spans a range of genres, including post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, dystopian, and horror fiction. His titles include the Safe Haven series, The End of Everything series, Relentless series, The Burning Tree series, and Scares in Scotland series. Many of his books are also available as audiobooks, narrated by Kim Bretton, allowing readers to enjoy his stories on the go.
Artinian's debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, was released in February 2017 and marked the beginning of his successful post-apocalyptic zombie series. The Safe Haven universe now includes twenty-eight books, as well as the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything. He has also written the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, Relentless, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, The Burning Tree.
Artinian's success as a writer has been recognized with several awards. In October 2017, he won the Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. He was also named Best New Author by the Reanimated Writers group in December 2017. Additionally, Safe Haven won the Best Series award in the GMZ poll, and The End of Everything: Book 1 won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.
