Chrystle Fiedler

Chrystle Fielder has always had a deep interest in and passion for natural remedies. Growing up, she learned about natural cures for various ailments from her mother, such as using chamomile tea for calming effects, arnica for sprains and bruises, and chicken soup with garlic for colds and flu. This early education in natural remedies sparked a lifelong interest in the topic for Fielder.

Fielder has a degree in communications from Boston University and has worked in advertising and television production. She later moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a screenwriter and in TV production. In 1998, Fielder became a full-time journalist and author and joined the American Society of Journalists and Authors. She specializes in writing about topics that can have a positive impact on readers, particularly ways to improve mental, emotional, and physical health and well-being. Fielder has contributed to many national publications including AARP, USA Today's Green Living, Experience Life, Natural Health, Woman's Day, Remedy, Better Homes & Gardens, Prevention, Vegetarian Times, and Spirituality & Health.

In 2009, Fielder began writing non-fiction books for Quarto, one of the largest illustrated book publishers in the world. She has written several books on natural remedies and green living, including "The Country Almanac of Home Remedies" and "The Home Reference to Holistic Health and Healing." In 2011, Gallery Books/Simon & Schuster bought Fielder's natural remedies series. The first book in the series, "DEATH DROPS: A Natural Remedies Mystery" was released in 2012, followed by "SCENT to KILL," "the GARDEN of DEATH" and "DANDELION DEAD." These mysteries also include information about natural remedies, alternative medicine, and green living.

Fielder is currently working on several book projects, all of which are set in the United Kingdom as she is a complete and total Anglophile. She enjoys spending her free time researching, watching Britbox, Acorn TV, gardening, and spending time in nature with her dachshund Murdoch.
