Claire Delacroix

Claire Delacroix, also known as Deborah Cooke, is a bestselling author of historical romance novels. She has an honors degree in history, with a focus on medieval studies, which has greatly influenced her writing. Delacroix is an avid reader of medieval vernacular literature, fairy tales, and fantasy novels.

Delacroix sold her first book in 1992, an historical romance called 'Romance of the Rose'. Since then, she has published over sixty romance novels and novellas, written under the pseudonyms Claire Cross and Deborah Cooke as well. She is well-known for her historical romance books, which have won her numerous accolades and awards. However, she has also ventured into the realm of fantasy romance, combining her two favorite genres. Some of her most popular series include the Jewels of the Kinfairlie Series and the Bride Quest series, with 'The Beauty Bride' from the Bride Quest series becoming a New York Times List of Bestselling Books.
