Clara McKenna

Clara McKenna is a renowned author, celebrated for her historical mystery series, the Stella & Lyndy Mysteries. This series features an unlikely couple who become entwined in a mix of love, murder, and horseracing in Edwardian England. McKenna's work has been well-received, with Suspense Magazine voting "Murder at Keyhaven Castle," the third book in the series, as one of the best of 2021.

McKenna is a founding member of Sleuths in Time, a cooperative group of historical mystery writers who support and promote each other's work. She is also a member of Sisters in Crime. Her educational background includes a B.A. in Biology from Wells College and an M.L.I.S. in Library and Information Studies from McGill University.

In addition to her writing, McKenna is known for her incurable case of wanderlust, which leads her to travel as often as she can. England is one of her favorite destinations, and when she is unable to visit, she writes about it from her home in the Upper Midwest. McKenna's passion for travel and her love for England are often reflected in her work, adding depth and authenticity to her stories.
