Claude Bouchard is a successful Canadian author, known for his crime thriller novels. Born in Montreal, Quebec, he attended McGill University and pursued a career in management for various firms before finding success as a writer. Bouchard is perhaps best known for his Vigilante series, which features characters who take a unique and extreme approach to dealing with crime.
Bouchard's journey into writing began in 1995 with his first novel, "Vigilante." Although he wrote two more novels in the same series by 1997, they remained unpublished until 2009. Since then, he has published several other thrillers, including "ASYLUM" and "The Ultimate Game," as well as a faux-erotica parody and cookbook under the pseudonyms Réal E. Hotte and Dasha Sugah. Two of his novels were included in the "9 Killer Thriller" anthologies, the second of which made the USA Today Bestsellers list in March 2014.
Beyond his writing, Bouchard enjoys a variety of hobbies and interests. He is an avid reader and music lover, playing the guitar and listening to a wide range of genres. He also enjoys painting, both in oil and watercolour, and is a skilled cook who enjoys making noise with his six guitars. Bouchard and his wife, Joanne, live in Montreal with their two black cats, Krystalle and Midnight. He continues to work on new installments of the Vigilante series, including "See You in Saigon" and "The First Sixteen."
