Clifford Irving is an American author who has lived a long and eventful life. He is best known for his books such as "Daddy's Girl," "Final Argument," "Trial," and "Tom Mix and Pancho Villa." Irving has written a total of 20 published books and has recently released 12 of his works as Kindle/Nook eBooks. He is currently writing a memoir called "Around the World in 80 Years".
Irving has had a varied and exciting life. He has traveled twice around the world, stood guard in an Israeli kibbutz, crewed on a three-masted schooner that sailed from Mexico to France, and lived on a houseboat on Dal Lake in Kashmir. He has also stood out in his professional career, being on the cover of Time Magazine and getting thrown into federal prison for writing the hoax "Autobiography of Howard Hughes," which led to a movie with Richard Gere playing Irving. Despite these setbacks, Irving has continued to write and has received critical acclaim for his work.
Irving's writing has been well-received by both readers and critics. His novel "Daddy's Girl" is the number one best-seller in the Amazon Kindle category of Courts and Law, and his novels "Final Argument" and "Trial" are consistently in the top ten best-sellers in Legal Thrillers on Kindle. His epic novel "Tom Mix and Pancho Villa" has received 5-star media reviews, and Irving takes pride in being the author of this book. Irving has also had a novel translated into Italian, "The Angel of Zin," which was published in January 2015.
Irving's entire archive of manuscripts, notes, journals, and correspondence is now stored by the Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin, which acquired it from him in 2013. He has also written a screenplay called "The Devil at Yale" and has begun a novel about a homeless man and a memoir called "Storyteller".
