Clyde Phillips

Clyde Phillips is a highly accomplished American author, known for his work in crime thriller novels and his contributions to television and film production. He is best known for his work as a TV and film producer, having been involved in the creation and production of several popular shows and movies.

Phillips is the author of the Detective Jane Candiotti series, but he has made a bigger impact in the television and film industry. He has served as showrunner for shows such as Dexter, Showtime’s acclaimed “Nurse Jackie”, and NBC’s “Suddenly Susan”. His productions have been highly successful, with “Dexter” receiving an Emmy nomination and “Nurse Jackie” becoming one of Showtime’s most popular series.

In addition to his work in television, Phillips has also produced several blockbuster movies and has been involved in the creation of popular shows such as “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose”, “Get Real”, and “Shout About Movies”. He was born in Boston and attended UCLA, where he earned his graduate degree. He currently lives in Connecticut and Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts with his wife Jane and their daughter.
