Cody McFadyen

Cody McFadyen is a successful American author, well-known for his thriller novels that keep readers on the edge of their seats. Prior to his writing career, McFadyen designed websites for a living. He is a self-proclaimed coffee enthusiast, and despite his lack of musical talent, he enjoys playing the guitar. McFadyen shares his home in Southern California with his two black labs, whom he affectionately refers to as "The Black Forces of Destruction."

McFadyen has made a name for himself in the thriller genre through his ability to build suspense and intrigue, leaving his audience guessing until the very end. His gift for mystery and character development has allowed him to create engaging protagonists that readers can easily identify with. His first series, the Smoky Barrett series, features FBI special agent Smoky Barrett, who is tasked with hunting down serial killers.
