Colleen Oakes is a bestselling author who has written books for both adults and young adults. Originally from Kansas, Oakes has recently relocated to New England with her husband and son.

Oakes has a Master's in Library Science and is passionate about building diverse book collections. She also has a stand-alone YA paranormal thriller, Eleven Houses, scheduled for release in 2025.
