Conrad Williams is a highly acclaimed author of horror and fantasy novels, born in 1969 in the United Kingdom. He is best known for his series featuring Joel Sorrell, as well as several standalone novels and short stories. Williams made his literary debut in 1998 with the release of "Head Injuries," which garnered significant attention in the horror and fantasy communities.

In 2007, he won the International Horror Guild Award for Best Novel for "The Unblemished," a significant achievement in the horror genre.
