Eiren Caffall is a Chicago-based writer and musician whose work explores themes of nature, loss, and environmental change. Her essays on oceans, extinction, and the natural world have appeared in publications such as Guernica, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Literary Hub, and Al Jazeera. She is the author of the forthcoming memoir "The Mourner’s Bestiary" (Row House Publishing, 2024) and the novel "All the Water in the World" (St. Martin’s Press, 2025). Her piece "Elementals: Volume IV. Fire" will be published in 2024 by The Center for Humans and Nature.
