Eli Cranor is a nationally bestselling author of mystery fiction novels, best known for his debut work "Don't Know Tough." Cranor's love for football is evident in his writing, as he played quarterback at every level, from peewee to professional, and then went on to coach high school football for five years. These days, he has traded in the pigskin for a laptop and writes from his home in Arkansas, where he lives with his wife and children.

Cranor's novel "Don't Know Tough" was awarded the Peter Lovesey First Crime Novel Contest and is set to be published by Soho Press in 2022.
