ellen Crosby is a successful American author, well-known for her mystery novels. She has written several books in the Wine Country Mysteries series, which feature Lucie Montgomery as the main character, and the Sophie Medina series. Crosby was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as a freelance journalist for many years in various places, including London, Switzerland, Geneva, and Moscow. She also worked as a correspondent for ABC Radio News in Moscow during the late 1980s.
Crosby has written feature stories for several popular publications such as The Christian Monitor, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Enquirer, and The Journal newspapers. Before she began her journalistic career, Crosby was an economist at the US Senate. She has a master's degree in international relations from The John Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from The America Catholic University. During her undergraduate studies, she lived in Madrid, Spain, and completed one of her graduate study semesters in Bologna, Italy.
