Emily A. Duncan

Emily A. Duncan is an American author, known for her young adult fantasy novels. She was born and raised in Ohio and currently works as a youth services librarian. Duncan has a Master’s degree in library science from Kent State University, which has helped her in her writing by teaching her how to find obscure texts of Slavic folklore through interlibrary loan systems. This knowledge has greatly influenced her writing, particularly in her Something Dark and Holy series.

Duncan is a New York Times bestselling author, with her books Ruthless Gods and Wicked Saints gaining significant popularity. Her writing is characterized by its unique blend of fantasy and young adult themes, making her stories accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of readers. In her spare time, Duncan enjoys playing video games and Dungeons & Dragons, which undoubtedly contributes to the imaginative and engaging worlds she creates in her writing.
