Emily Wibberley is a successful American author, particularly known for her young adult romance novels. Raised in South Bay, California, Wibberley developed a love for reading at a young age. She was particularly drawn to feisty heroines, finding inspiration in the pages of Jane Austen novels and "The Hunger Games." Wibberley's voracious appetite for reading eventually led her to pursue a career in writing.
Wibberley attended Princeton University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2014. It was during her time at Princeton that Wibberley decided to take her passion for writing to the next level. Her first novel, "Sacrifice," was published in 2015 and went on to become an award-winning novel, earning recognition from the Next Generation Indie Book Award, Beverly Hills Book Award, and International Book Award. The novel quickly became a bestseller, spending several months on the Top Ten Teen bestselling list on Amazon Kindle.
In addition to her successful solo writing career, Wibberley also collaborates with her husband, Austin Siegemund-Broka, on young adult novels. Together, they have written "The Roughest Draft" and several love stories for teens. When she's not writing, Wibberley enjoys watching action movies with her two German Shepherd dogs, Hudson and Bishop, named after characters from James Cameron's "Aliens." She also enjoys playing musical instruments and video games.
