Emma Heatherington is a bestselling author from Donaghmore, County Tyrone. She has written numerous novels, including "The Legacy of Lucy Harte," "A Part of Me and You," "A Miracle on Hope Street," "Rewrite the Stars," and "Secrets in the Snow." Her work has been successful in various regions, with the Amazon UK Top 10 bestseller and Amazon US hit, "The Legacy of Lucy Harte," and "Secrets in the Snow" debuting on The Bookseller's Heatseeker Chart at number two.
Heatherington's writing covers various genres, including romantic suspense, which she writes under the name Emma Louise Jordan, and romantic comedies as Emma Heatherington. She began her writing career in 2005 when she entered a short story competition, which she won. By December of the same year, she had written and staged her debut musical and signed a book deal with Dodder, resulting in the publication of her first novel, "Crazy For You," in 2007.
In addition to her novels, Heatherington has written over seventy educational plays and short films and served as a ghostwriter for Philomena Begley, a country legend. She also wrote "Born For The Road," the story of Nathan Carter, which was shortlisted for the 2018 Post Irish Book Awards. Heatherington is a regular contributor to the Sunday Life and Belfast Telegraph newspapers and has made appearances on chat shows on UTV, TV3, and RTE. She currently lives in Donaghmore with her partner, Jim McKee, an Irish singer/songwriter and artist, and their five children.
