Eric J. Guignard is an accomplished American author and editor, specializing in dark and speculative fiction. He has received significant recognition for his work, including winning the Bram Stoker Award twice, as well as being a finalist for the International Thriller Writers Award and the Pushcart Prize. Guignard's writing has also been nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award and the World Fantasy Award.\n \nGuignard's reputation extends beyond his short stories and non-fiction works, as he is also well-known for his editorial work. He has over one hundred stories and non-fiction author credits appearing in various publications around the world. As an editor, Guignard has published multiple fiction anthologies, including "Pop the Clutch: Thrilling Tales of Rockabilly, Monsters, and Hot Rod Horror" and "A World of Horror," which showcases international horror short fiction.
Additionally, Guignard has created an ongoing series of author primers through his press, Dark Moon Books, which champions modern masters of the dark and macabre. He is also the publisher and acquisitions editor for the renowned +Horror Library+ anthology series. Guignard has recently curated the series, "The Horror Writers Association Presents: Haunted Library of Horror Classics" through SourceBooks with co-editor Leslie S. Klinger. His latest books include "Last Case at a Baggage Auction," "Doorways to the Deadeye," and short story collection "That Which Grows Wild."
