Her novels have been translated into over 25 languages and published in numerous countries around the world. The stories in her novels have been described as "thrill-packed entertainers," "white-knuckled page turners," and "excellent reads."

She is a Romance Writers of America Honor Roll member and has received the Kiss of Death Award for her novels "Forbidden Fruit" and "Dead Run." In 1999, the audio version of her novel "Shocking Pink" received a Listen Up Award, naming it one of the best audio mystery books of the year.

Spindler is known for her engaging storytelling and her ability to craft complex and captivating characters. She enjoys meeting and interacting with her fans, both in person and online.
