Erin Eitter Kono

Erin is an award-winning author and illustrator known for her contributions to children's literature. Her published works include the acclaimed "Caterina" series - "Caterina and the Perfect Party," "Caterina and the Lemonade Stand," and "Caterina and the Best Beach Day" - as well as the picture book "Every Color." She also co-authored and illustrated "The Twelve Days of Wisconsin Christmas" and collaborated on titles such as "Star Baby," which earned recognition as one of the Center for Early Literacy's "Best Books for Babies." Her book "Hula Lullaby" received the Children's Literature Council's Excellence in a Picture Book Award and was named "Best Lullaby and Goodnight Book" by Nick Jr. Magazine.

With a background in art history and graphic design, Erin combines her artistic expertise with storytelling to create visually engaging and thematically rich books for young readers. In addition to her writing and illustration career, Erin studied art history at the University of Iowa and the University of Hull in England before honing her skills in graphic design and writing through UCLA Extension.
