Erin Young

Erin Young is a successful author who writes crime fiction novels under the pen name of English author Robyn Young. Her work has been published in 19 languages and is available in 22 countries, with over two million copies sold worldwide. Originally from a fishing village in Devon, she now resides in Brighton, England.

Erin's debut crime thriller, "The Fields," features Sergeant Riley Fisher of Black Hawk County and is the first in a planned series. The novel has received critical acclaim and has been published in North America, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Taiwan, and more. It has been shortlisted for hardcover of the year at the ITW thriller awards and was named in Oprah Daily as one of the best emerging female thriller writers of the year. The sequel, "Original Sins," is set to be published in 2024. In addition to writing under the pen name Erin Young, Robyn Young also writes historical fiction.

"The Fields" was inspired by an article about the menacing power of Big Agriculture, leading Erin on a fascinating journey across Iowa. She was drawn to the claustrophobic dramas of rural small-towns and the secrets they hide. Erin's personal background and experiences have greatly influenced her writing, having grown up in a fishing village in Devon. She currently lives and writes in Brighton, England.
