Eva Marie Everson

Eva Marie Everson is a best-selling and multiple award-winning author, who has written both fiction and nonfiction books. She was born and raised in the small town of Sylvania, Georgia, which is just outside of Savannah. Everson has a distinct southern accent that becomes more pronounced every time she crosses the Florida/Georgia state line. She believes that one must go North to get South of here.\n \nEverson is not only an accomplished author but also holds leadership positions in the writing community. She is the president of Word Weavers International, an organization that provides support and resources for writers. She is also the director of Florida Christian Writers Conference, an annual event that brings together writers, editors, and publishers for workshops, networking, and inspiration. Everson enjoys teaching and speaking at writers events across the country and coaching new writers through her company, Pen In Hand, Inc.

Everson is an ex-nurse and a seminary graduate, with a deep love for God and an enthusiasm for sharing her faith. She finds the Old Testament to be great fun to read and enjoys the way the New Testament draws her closer to Heaven. She has been married since 1979 and has three children and grandchildren, with whom she shares a close bond. Everson is also a dog lover and is rarely still, keeping busy with writing, editing, and running Word Weavers International and Florida Christian Writers Conference. She is known for quoting lines from movies and songs and has a passion for hiking and pushing herself to new heights, both physically and spiritually.
