Marcus Sakey

Marcus Sakey is a successful American author, known for his crime fiction novels. Originally from the southside of Chicago, Illinois, Sakey's works often draw inspiration from his hometown. Prior to his writing career, he ran a graphic design company in Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition to his written work, Sakey also hosts the Travel Channel's television show "Hidden City." He has received significant recognition for his novels, including the sale of film rights to "The Blade Itself" to Ben Affleck, and the adaptation of "Good People" into a film starring James Franco and Kate Hudson.

Sakey's success is further highlighted by the Brilliance Trilogy, which has sold over a million copies. His novel "AFTERLIFE" is set to be adapted into a major motion picture by Imagine Entertainment, producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.
