Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is a creative director and writer who was born in Barcelona, Spain. From a young age, Vegara had a passion for reading, often staying up late with a flashlight to finish her books. She always dreamed of becoming a writer, but her career took a different direction. Vegara ended up working in advertising, where she found joy in collaborating with directors, photographers, and designers. She also wrote scripts, documentaries, and various texts during her time in advertising.
Vegara's writing career took off when she decided to self-publish a book that she had been thinking about for a long time. After receiving 1,000 copies of the book at her home, she opened an online shop and sold them all. Vegara's success in self-publishing led to publishing houses approaching her to write books. However, Vegara had another idea in mind: a series about little people with big dreams. This series, "Little People BIG DREAMS," features various influential figures, including Frida Kahlo, Marie Curie, and Mahatma Gandhi. The series has become popular among children and parents alike, inspiring young readers to dream big. Vegara's own experiences and passion for reading and writing have undoubtedly contributed to the success of the series. Through her writing, Vegara hopes to inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators.
