Kristina Adams is a successful author and copywriter, with a diverse range of experiences and accomplishments in her career. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother, who also enjoys reading and has a dislike for housework.
Adams began her professional career as a writer, contributing features and fiction to various national magazines while her children were young. She also worked as a columnist for Mother & Baby and set up a home-based business selling children's party goods. After training as an ante-natal teacher, she decided to open a shop, where she gained a reputation for telling impatient customers to "breathe in short pants and not push."
In addition to her retail ventures, Adams also set up a booking and planning service for off-the-beaten-track trips to New England, USA. She published an annual guide to the area, which became a valuable resource for travelers and eventually led to the sale of the business to a FTSE 100 company.
