Marjan Kamali is a highly acclaimed general fiction author, best known for her novels "The Stationery Shop" and "Together Tea." Born to Iranian parents, Kamali spent her childhood in a variety of countries, including Turkey, Iran, Kenya, Germany, and the United States. This multicultural upbringing is reflected in her writing, which draws from her experiences in different parts of the world.
Kamali's debut novel, "Together Tea," was well-received and even adapted for the stage, performed in California. The book earned her several awards and recognitions in the writing world. Kamali holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from Columbia University, and a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from New York University. She currently lives in the Boston area with her husband and their two children.
