Marjory McGinn is a Scottish-born journalist and author who was born and bred in Australia. She has had a successful career in journalism, with her writing appearing in leading newspapers and magazines in the UK and Australia. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to interview many prominent figures in the arts, politics, and sports, including Donald Sutherland, Olivia Newton-John, Clive James, and the late Shane Warne.
In 2010, McGinn set off for an adventure in the rural Mani region of Greece with her husband and their Jack Russell dog, Wallace. This adventure lasted for four years and served as the inspiration for her four travel memoirs in the Peloponnese Series: "Things Can Only Get Feta," "Homer's Where the Heart Is," "A Scorpion In The Lemon Tree," and "A Donkey On The Catwalk." In addition to her travel memoirs, she has also published two novels set in Greece: "A Saint For The Summer" and "How Greek Is Your Love?" These books have been well-received and are regularly featured in Amazon bestseller charts.
McGinn currently resides in Cornwall, England, and enjoys photography, rambling, and swimming. She also maintains a blog with a Greek theme on her website, where she writes about her experiences in Greece and shares her photography. McGinn is also a member of the UK's Society of Authors.
