Mary Davis

Mary Davis was born and raised in the state of Washington. She earned her college degree in elementary education and has furthered her writing skills through an advanced course with the Institute of Children’s Literature. Davis has been a resident of Washington State for most of her life, but she has also lived in different parts of the country before returning to her home state. She is a dedicated author, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Davis developed a passion for inspirational romance books through her own imagination. She explains that her characters were so vivid and persistent that they kept her from sleeping and focusing on other tasks. Over the years, she has written over forty titles, and her characters continue to inspire her. In addition to her writing, Davis is a member of ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) and has made significant contributions to the literary world.

A quiet and creative individual, Davis has a variety of interests and hobbies outside of writing. She enjoys many crafts such as porcelain doll making, quilting, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. She also loves spending time with her cat, Buffy, and appreciates the rainy weather in Washington State. Despite challenges such as dyslexia and the occasional feline interference, Davis has produced award-winning and bestselling works, including her Quilting Circle series, Mrs. Witherspoon Goes To War, and Newlywed Games. Her published works have frequently appeared on Publisher’s Weekly bestselling lists.
