Matt Shaw

Matt Shaw is an accomplished author, known best for his extreme horror stories. He was born in a Winchester hospital and showed an early interest in writing, starting with short stories and screenplays for his own amusement. Shaw's hard work paid off when he was finally published at the age of twenty-seven. His writing career has included not only extreme horror but also photography and cartooning.

In 2018, Shaw added "filmmaker" to his list of accomplishments when he produced and directed his first feature film, "Monster." The following year, he produced and directed his second film, "Next Door." Shaw's work has been well-received, with over 200 stories published and translations in several languages, including Japanese, Korean, German, and French. His writing has also been adapted into graphic novels.

Shaw's favorite books include Roald Dahl's Collection of Short Stories, Tim Burton's Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy, and anything written by himself, demonstrating his confidence in his own abilities as a writer. Despite his success, Shaw remains humble and approachable, with a sense of humor that includes a bit of self-deprecation. He has been known to refer to himself as a bit of a flirt and a klutz.
