Max Hawthorne is a successful author of horror, science fiction, and thriller stories. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Hawthorne grew up in Philadelphia where he completed his schooling and graduated from the University of the Arts. He is well-known for his widely popular Kronos Rising series, which has achieved worldwide success and earned rave reviews from critics. This series has helped Hawthorne establish himself as a noteworthy writer in the horror/thriller genre and garner a large and devoted fanbase.
In addition to the Kronos Rising series, Hawthorne has also written the Memoirs of a Gym Rat, a book in which he exposes the health club industry with his signature wit and humor. He is also the author of the children's book I Want a Tyrannosaurus for Christmas. Hawthorne's writing has earned him several awards, including Book of the Year and People’s Choice awards. He has been interviewed by notable publications such as The Washington Post and Fangoria magazine, and has made appearances on QVC, Spaced Out Radio, Coast-to-Coast AM, and in a rap video.
Hawthorne is also a singer/songwriter, amateur paleontologist, cryptid researcher, and a Voting Member of the Author’s Guild. He is an avid sportsman and conservationist, with hobbies including archery, fishing, boating, boxing, and collecting fossils and antiquities. Hawthorne currently resides in the Greater Northeast with his wife, daughter, and a pair of Siberian Forest Cats.
