Maxine Morrey is a bestselling author of romance fiction, who has been writing for as long as she can remember. She wrote her first short book for school when she was ten and won a handful of book tokens as a prize, which only fueled her love for writing and reading. However, it wasn't until after self-publishing her first novel, when a contract fell through due to the recession, that she began to look for more opportunities in the publishing world.
Maxine's hard work and dedication paid off when she won Harper Collins/Carina UK's 'Write Christmas' competition in August 2015 with her romantic comedy, 'Winter's Fairytale'. She has since become a bestselling author of several novels, including 'Things Are Looking Up', '#NoFilter', and the Kindle UK top ten read, 'The Christmas Project'.
In addition to her love for writing, Maxine enjoys a variety of hobbies, including reading, sewing, and listening to podcasts. She is also a fan of tea and cake, which often motivates her to go on walks. Maxine currently resides on the south coast of England, where she continues to write and pursue her passions.
