Mi-ae Seo is a renowned author from Seoul, South Korea. She gained significant recognition in the English-speaking world with the publication of her debut novel, "The Only Child." Seo's love for mystery novels began at a young age, and she spent much of her childhood devouring any mystery books she could find in her library and at home. Her passion for writing was already evident during her college years, where she began by writing poetry and eventually moved on to fiction.
Seo's professional writing career started after she graduated from college, working as a screenplay and broadcasting writer.
