Michael Brandman

Michael Brandman is an accomplished American author, known for his crime fiction novels. He gained fame for continuing the Jesse Stone series, which was originally created by Robert B. Parker. Brandman wrote the last three books in the series, from 2011 to 2013, after Parker's death.

In addition to his work as an author, Brandman is also a seasoned film producer. He has worked on films such as "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead," "Monte Walsh," and "Jesse Stone: Stone Cold." Brandman was chosen to continue the Jesse Stone series due to his previous collaboration with Parker on over a dozen films. He is married to actress Joanna Miles and currently resides in California.

Brandman's writing career began in 2011 with the release of his debut book, "Killing the Blues." As a producer, he has won numerous awards for his work on over 30 motion pictures. He has said that the most rewarding phase of his producing career was his time working with Parker. Together, they produced three Spencer movies for A&E and several TV movies of Jesse Stone, which are still being broadcast on CBS. All of the books that Brandman has written in the Jesse Stone series have become New York Times bestsellers.
