Michael Cardwell is a retired U.S. Army veteran and author known for his Western fiction. He has published "The Rough Stuff," a collection of short stories, and the first three novels in "The FRONTIER" series: "FRONTIER JUSTICE" (2023), "FRONTIER OUTLAWS" (2024), and "FRONTIER MARSHAL" (2025). His works explore themes of justice, survival, and adventure set against the backdrop of the American frontier.
After serving thirty-two years in the military, Cardwell turned to writing, drawing on his disciplined background to craft gripping narratives. He resides in Middle America with his wife, Roni, where he balances his writing with family life, including spending time with his eight grandchildren. When not writing, he enjoys brewing coffee and caring for his dogs.
