Michelle Gagnon is a successful author of crime fiction, mystery, young adult, thriller, and literature & fiction stories. She is a native of the United States and has written several bestselling books in her career. Gagnon has a varied work history, having held jobs as a bartender, model, club performer, dog walker, personal trainer, and modern dancer. However, it was her successful thrillers, such as "The Gatekeeper," "Kidnap & Ransom," "The Tunnels," and "Boneyard," that inspired her to pursue a career in novel writing. These novels, along with several others, have been published in numerous countries, including Denmark, Sweden, North America, Finland, France, Australia, Argentina, Spain, and Norway.
Before becoming a full-time writer, Gagnon worked in a variety of fields, including the performing arts and fitness. She was a modern dancer, which allowed her to travel extensively and perform in various countries. Gagnon also worked as a bartender, model, dog walker, personal trainer, and Russian supper club performer.
