Michelle Gagnon

Michelle Gagnon is a successful author of crime fiction, mystery, young adult, thriller, and literature & fiction stories. She is a native of the United States and has written several bestselling books in her career. Gagnon has a varied work history, having held jobs as a bartender, model, club performer, dog walker, personal trainer, and modern dancer. However, it was her successful thrillers, such as "The Gatekeeper," "Kidnap & Ransom," "The Tunnels," and "Boneyard," that inspired her to pursue a career in novel writing. These novels, along with several others, have been published in numerous countries, including Denmark, Sweden, North America, Finland, France, Australia, Argentina, Spain, and Norway.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Gagnon worked in a variety of fields, including the performing arts and fitness. She was a modern dancer, which allowed her to travel extensively and perform in various countries. Gagnon also worked as a bartender, model, dog walker, personal trainer, and Russian supper club performer. These diverse experiences have undoubtedly influenced her writing, providing her with a wealth of material to draw upon and helping her to create complex and compelling characters.

Gagnon's bestselling adult thrillers, such as "The Tunnels," "Boneyard," "The Gatekeeper," and "Kidnap & Ransom," have been published in several countries, including North America, France, Spain, Argentina, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Australia. "Boneyard" was a finalist for a 2009 Daphne du Maurier Award for Excellence in Mystery/Suspense. In addition to her successful thriller novels, Gagnon has also written a young adult Persephone trilogy, which includes "Don't Turn Around," "Don't Look Now," and "Don't Let Go." The first book in the series received four starred reviews and was an IndieNext and Junior Library Guild selection. It was also chosen as one of the best YA novels of 2012 by Kirkus, the American Library Association, and the Junior Library Guild. Gagnon's latest adult novel, "Killing Me," is a neo-noir thriller about unlikely heroines who hunt serial killers. She currently resides in Los Angeles, where she is pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology.
