Miranda Rijks is a successful author of contemporary, crime, and psychological thriller novels. She has written numerous standalone psychological thrillers, including "Deserve to Die," "I Want you Gone," "Roses are Red," and "You Are Mine," as well as the Dr Pippa Durrant series. Her books are known for their fast-paced, twisty narratives, which are inspired by her own experiences and the places she has visited.
Rijks is originally from England and currently resides in Sussex with her Dutch husband and two black Labradors. She turned to writing after recovering from Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, and is now living her dream as a full-time author. Before becoming a writer, she helped new entrepreneurs turn their ideas into successful businesses.
In addition to her writing, Rijks is also active on social media and has a strong following on Facebook. She enjoys engaging with her readers and often offers sneak peeks of her upcoming books, as well as opportunities to win free copies and have a character named after them. When she's not writing, Rijks enjoys knitting, painting on her iPad, and dreaming about living in a chalet on a Swiss mountain.
