P.C. Cast is a bestselling American author, well-known for her work in the paranormal romance and fantasy genres. She has written many popular series, including the House of Night series, which she co-authors with her daughter Kristin Cast. The series has been highly successful, securing the position of #1 New York Times and #1 USA Today Best-Seller.
Born in the Midwest, P.C. Cast spent her childhood moving back and forth between Illinois and Oklahoma. It was during her time in Oklahoma that she developed a love for Quarter Horses and mythology. After finishing high school, she joined the United States Air Force and began public speaking and writing. Following her service, she embarked on a career in education, teaching high school for fifteen years before retiring to focus on her writing.
