Pai Kit Fai

Pai Kit Fai, the pseudonym for Geoff Pike, is a British-born Australian writer known for his adventurous novels and internationally acclaimed works on traditional Chinese medicine. His debut novel-trilogy, based on his early life experiences, earned him the A&R Writer's Fellowship and became a bestseller, selected as Odham's Book of the Month Club in London and Dymock's Book of the Month Club in Australia. He later gained widespread recognition for his non-fiction book "Live Longer Love Longer: The Power Of Ch'i," which led to three additional titles in the series. His historical novels, including "The Second Sunrise," "Tiger Dawn," "The Concubine's Daughter," and "Red Lotus," reflect his deep fascination with Asian culture and history.

Pike's life was marked by extraordinary experiences, from surviving the London Blitz as a child to working as a sailor, horseman, and lumberjack in Australia. After serving in the British Army during the Korean War, he pursued careers in animation and international advertising, earning prestigious accolades such as the H.K. McCann Award for creative excellence. A student of Chinese martial arts, he overcame throat cancer through traditional breath training, later becoming a Master of Chi Kung. His novels often draw from his rich personal history, blending adventure, historical depth, and cultural insight.

Residing in Asia for many years, Pike married into a prominent Hong Kong family, further deepening his connection to the region. His works continue to resonate with readers worldwide, combining vivid storytelling with themes of resilience, tradition, and cross-cultural encounters.
