She has contributed to acclaimed films such as "Moana," "Ralph Breaks the Internet," and "Bears," and has been a member of the Disney Animation StoryTrust since 2013. Her original comic book series "SLAM!," co-created with Veronica Fish, is being adapted into an animated series for HBO Max, while her graphic novel "My Boyfriend is a Bear," illustrated by Cat Farris, is in development as a live-action feature. Ribon's comedic memoir, "Notes to Boys (and Other Things I Shouldn’t Share in Public)," praised by NPR as "brain-breakingly funny," is also being adapted into an animated series for FX’s CAKE.

Known for her sharp wit and distinctive voice, Ribon has made significant contributions to comedy writing across multiple mediums. She was a writer for the Emmy-winning series "Samantha Who?" and has developed original projects for networks including ABC, Freeform, and Warner Bros. Her early career as a blogger on pamie.com established her as an internet pioneer, with viral essays like "Barbie F"cks it Up Again" sparking cultural conversations and influencing Mattel’s rebranding of Barbie. A Film Independent Directing Lab Fellow and one of Variety’s 10 Screenwriters to Watch, Ribon’s work often blends humor with insightful social commentary. Her stage productions, including "Call Us Crazy: The Anne Heche Monologues," have been featured at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival.

A graduate of the University of Texas with a BFA in Acting, Ribon’s career reflects her versatility as a storyteller. Beyond her screenwriting and comic work, she has authored novels such as "Why Girls Are Weird" and "You Take It From Here," adapting several for film and television. Her influence extends into pop culture, with her term "muffin top" earning a place in the Oxford English Dictionary.
