Pamela Yaye is a successful Canadian author who specializes in writing romantic fiction, with a particular passion for African-American literature. Yaye's love for reading and writing developed at an early age, thanks to her parents' encouragement and her own enthusiasm for various literary genres. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education, Yaye spent three years living in Seoul, South Korea, where she discovered a new appreciation for different cultures and people. It was during this time that she wrote her first novella.
Upon her return to Canada, Yaye transformed her novella into a full-length novel and began submitting her work to publishers. After facing rejection thirty times, she finally signed with super-agent Sha-Shana Crichton from Crichton and Associates. Soon after, she secured a two-book deal contract with Harlequin’s African-American Romance line, Kimani Press. Since then, Yaye has published numerous romance novels, with her fifteenth Harlequin Kimani Romance novel, "Seduced By The Playboy," released in July 2014.
In addition to being a prolific writer, Yaye is also a dedicated wife, mother, and teacher. She has a busy family life with her real-life hero, and adorable, but mischievous son and daughter. When she's not writing or spending time with her family, Yaye enjoys watching sports, experimenting in the kitchen, or planning her next family vacation.
