Patty Dann

Patty Dann is an accomplished author known for her novels and memoirs, blending memory and imagination in her storytelling. Her debut novel, "Mermaids," was adapted into a critically acclaimed film starring Cher, Winona Ryder, and Christina Ricci. In addition to "Mermaids," she has published two other novels and three memoirs, with her works translated into multiple languages, including French, German, Italian, and Japanese. Dann holds an MFA in Writing from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Oregon.
