Peg Cochran is a successful American author, best known for her cozy mystery and young adult novels. She has written several popular series, including the Gourmet De-Lite Mysteries, Lucille Mysteries, and Cranberry Cove Mysteries. Born and raised in New Jersey, Cochran spent her childhood just outside of New York City. After college, she lived in New York for a time, where she managed an art gallery owned by the son of the artist Henri Matisse. However, after starting a family, she returned to the Garden State suburbs, where she raised her two daughters, Francesca and Annabelle.
Cochran's love for writing began at a young age, when she would write plays and force her cousins to perform them at Christmas dinner. Her curiosity and love for learning led her to read the entire set of children's encyclopedias her parents gave her, and she has been known to read the dictionary as well. It was only natural that her love for writing and her curiosity would eventually lead her to mysteries. She discovered the perfect hiding place for a body down the street from her house, and from there, her career as a mystery writer took off.
In addition to the Gourmet De-Lite Mysteries, Lucille Mysteries, and Cranberry Cove Mysteries, Cochran has also written the Open Book Series under the name Margaret Loudon, the Murder, She Reported series, the Farmer's Daughter series, the Sweet Nothings Lingerie series under the name Meg London, and several standalone mystery novels. When she's not writing, Cochran enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her granddaughter. She is a former Jersey girl who now resides in Michigan with her husband and West Highland white terrier, Reg. She takes great pleasure in checking her books' stats on Amazon and engaging with her fans on social media.
